INTERTWinE's Dan Holmes joined a small band of extreme-scale experts to present the proposal for MPI Sessions at the MPI Forum meeting in Chicago.
INTERTWinE's Dan Holmes has been working on a new concept, called MPI Sessions, within the MPI Forum. Jeff Squyres explains where we've got to so far in this interview for InsideHPC: http://insidehpc.com/2016/03/mpi-sessions. INTERTWinE is looking at using MPI Sessions to improve the composability and interoperability of MPI and task-based programming runtime systems, such as OmpSs and StarPU.
We provide here a link to the slides for MPI Sessions: a proposal to the MPI Forum with the kind permission of the author, Jeff Squyres.
