2018 European HPC Projects Handbook

07 Nov 2018
ETP4HPC has published the 2018 edition of the European HPC Projects handbook.

Produced by ETP4HPC in conjunction with EXDCI, this yearly handbook features details of all of the current European HPC projects (including INTERTWinE) and Centres of Excellence.

You can download a copy online from http://www.etp4hpc.eu/pujades/files/ETP4HPC_Handbook_2018_web%281%29.pdf, or, if you will be at the SC18 conference in Dallas next week, you can get your own printed copy if you attend the Birds-of-a-Feather session "Consolidating the European Exascale Effort" (Wednesday, 14 November, from 5:15 to 6:45 pm in room D166).

This session will cover the results of the European Exascale programme to date (including the entire HPC system stack and application expertise), the ambitions of the new round of basic technology, application, co-design (DEEP-EST/EuroExa), prototype and processor design (EPI) projects, its post-Exascale plans, collaboration with Big Data, IoT and other areas, and a selection of best-performing HPC technology SMEs (Iceotope and Megware), emphasising Europe’s global contributions.

EuroHPC, an initiative of EC and Member States, will provide the resources and mechanisms needed to integrate these efforts and build world-class Exascale machines.
